the estate

The wine estate is located in the Marche Region, in the countrysides close to the small castle of Serra San Quirico.

The production area is well-known as Castelli di Jesi “Classico”, where Classico means the oldest and most suitable area for wine production. This is the natural habitat of the Verdicchio.

Marche’s winemaking has a long history and can be dated back to centuries ago and it was influenced by various cultures: Etruscans, Romans, and Lombards.

Marche has a unique terroir due to the influences of the mountains Apennines, the Adriatic sea and the region's rivers. The hills offer sunlight, shelter, and excess rainfall drainage.

The micro-climates are ideal for vines cultivation.

The are several native grape varieties which produce white, red and rosé wines, still as well as sparkling and sweet.

The Estate’s vineyards cover about 9 hectares, altitudes raging between 320 to 370m above sea level.

Vineyards are influenced by the fresh mountain air and the salty winds from the Adriatic sea.

Soils are mainly limestone, passing from sandstone to clay, with compositions differing from area to area.

The parcels are characterized by different altitudes, slopes, soils, sun and wind exposure.

Local grapes

Accadia works only on native grapes, making wines that are a unique terroir expression.

White grapes Verdicchio: the terroir enhances the character of freshness and flavor. Wines are balanced, of good structure and great aging potential, to drink even after 5/6 years.

Red grapes Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Lacrima give wines with intense color, a strong structure and a good aging potential.
